Unnur Andrea Einarsdóttir was born in Reyjavik, Iceland in 1981. She graduated from the Icelandic Academy of the Arts 2005, with a B.A. degree in Fine arts. Since her graduation her work has mostly been focused on videos, performances and installations, frequently using music as an important factor in her work. She held her first solo- exhibition in Galleri Dvergur in 2006 and has taken part in several exhibtions and art related events in Iceland. As well as exhibiting in Iceland, her work has travelled considerably and has been shown in about 18 countries around the globe
